ADMINISTRATION DISTRIBUTES 3000 DRY RATION PACKETS TO NEEDY AND UNDERPRIVILEGED SECTIONS OF JALANDHAR
Jalandhar, May 9- The Jalandhar district administration today provided 3000 packets of dry ration among the needy and underprivileged sections of the society amid the curfew imposed to fight Covid-19 pandemic.
Giving further information, Additional Chief Administrator Jalandhar Development Authority (JDA) Ms Navneet Kaur Bal, who was heading the operations of packing and distribution drive of administration, said that 3000 packets were dispatched to various areas of the district.
Additional Chief Administrator Jalandhar Development Authority stated that the administration was leaving no stone unturned to providing relief to such sections in this hour of crisis.
She told that a team of dedicated officers of various departments was permanently stationed for delivering the dry ration amongst the needy and underprivileged sections of society in Jalandhar.
She also said that the Punjab government was committed to help the people of the state in this time of crisis.
