ADMINISTRATION PROVIDES 3000 DRY RATION PACKETS IN JALANDHAR TO THE NEEDY PEOPLE
Jalandhar, May 12 - The Jalandhar district administration today distributed 3000 packets of dry ration among the needy people amid the curfew imposed by state Government to fight Covid-19 pandemic in the district.
Giving further information, Additional Chief Administrator Jalandhar Development Authority Ms Navneet Kaur Bal, who was supervising the packing and distribution of food packets, said that the 3000 packets were dispatched to various areas of the Jalandhar.
Ms Bal added that all medical protocols including social distancing hand washing frequently with soap or using sanitization, and others were being followed in the entire packing and distribution drive. She said that the administration was ensuring relief to the needy people in these prevailing conditions.
She told that a team of dedicated officers of various departments was stationed in the central warehouse round the clock for ensuring packing of the dry ration material to the needy people.
She said that the Punjab government was committed to bailing out people in this hour of crisis.
