PREVENTION AND MANEGEMENT PROTOCOL OF COVID 19

Any suspect

Patient with a positive travel history / contact history / home quarantine/ isolation No symptoms or very mild symptoms LIKE Symptoms :

 mild to moderate fever

 cough, myalgia, fatigue, dry cough, anorexia, myalgia, dyspnoea, sputum production

Diarrhoea and nausea etc.

Consider the patient’s age and other co-morbidities. Advise him with the community prevention protocols

Steam inhalation  every one hourly with dashmoola kwath /plain water

Gargling – Water boiled with Haridra(Turmeric)/Thriphala/Yashtimadhu/ Lavana

Complete fast upto 36 hour .

Drinking water/ Medicated water - made up of  shunthi and dhania powder  one teaspoon boiled in two liters of water can be used as drinking water.

dashmoola peya ( liquid gruel) is given followed by yavagu (thick gruel), if patient feel hungry

SHODHAN WITH FULL BODY STEAM

Sweden karma/sudation: It is beneficial in cold and chills. And also help in reducing the intensity of fever. The fomentation with hot bag in the area of vertebral column in the downward direction reduces the chills and fever.

Rasayan like brahm rasayana / chywan prash  1tsf with luke warm water  twice daily.

Take complete rest. Complete Avoid  Heavy , Spicy, oily or fried foods; Junk foods, Curd, Cool drinks, Head bath; Exercise; Mental stress; Exposure to fan

Yoga and meditation is very beneficial.
